Four Years

Last week, Ryan and I celebrated an amazing four years together. I decorated the backyard with lights and surprised him with a candlelit dinner. The framed hearts (below) are cut-up maps we brought back from Europe. Each heart represents a city we stayed in. It reminds me of all our adventures together and how many more we are going to go on.

Dinner menu: Filet mignon with baked potato, grilled zucchini, corn on the cob, and garlic bread. Homemade sangria to wash it down. And crepes for dessert.

San Francisco | Travel

Every July I go up to Sacramento to spend a week with Ryan and his family. This year, we decided to take a mini trip to San Francisco. I haven't been there since maybe...9? but it was still as if I was experiencing it for the first time. I love everything about this city. The streets are always crowded with the most interesting people. I could people watch forever. Two nights were definitely not enough to see everything. I have to make my way back before the year ends.

Brian + Kaisa Part 2 | Engagement

This was actually our first location for the shoot. It took me a while to post these because I was having a hard time processing this set. I'm still not 100% happy with them but I'll be playing around with them until I am.

Brian + Kaisa | Engagement

Brian and Kaisa are a living fairytale love story...high school sweethearts...and 6 1/2 years later, a romantic proposal where they first fell in love. We wish this for ourselves because they are everything that love is: adventurous, surprising, magical, trusting, supportive, caring...I've known them since their beginning and am so fortunate to be included in their special day. They're my best friends and I know they couldn't be any more perfect for each other.
